Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Arts of the Republic of Congo, the ACP-UE Culture Programme - Créer en Afrique centrale will hold its 1st networking event entitled "Development and promotion of cultural and creative industries" from 26 to 28 October 2021, in Brazzaville, Congo.
The event will bring together the beneficiaries of the 1st call for proposals, who will interact and work together with invited cultural actors and operators, regional and international experts, and national and local authorities. Over three days, training sessions and seminars on themes related to the 4 priority axes of the call for proposals (creation/production, access to markets, image education, and financing) as well as study visits and a session on cultural policies for CCIs in the region will be conducted. The networking and internationalisation programme will be particularly useful for them as it aims at training, learning, and networking.
