Don’t miss it: Créer en Afrique centrale at the 7th EU-Africa Business Forum!

The 7th EU-Africa Business Forum (EABF), organized by the European Commission and the African Union, will take place on 14-18 February online. Since 2006, this has been the main event preceding the AU-EU summit.

Africa has an incredible commercial and economic potential, but unfortunately suffers from many ills. This 7th edition, which runs under the theme "Building Stronger Value Chains for Sustainable Growth and Decent Jobs", is intended to contribute to ongoing debate: it is not only about business development, but also about supporting the sustainable development of the continent and improving the living conditions of its citizens.

This Forum is an opportunity to present key initiatives to a high-level audience of business leaders. It offers business representatives the opportunity to raise critical issues with high-level policy makers from the African and European Union, and to discuss policy reforms in Africa towards a better trade and investment climate. Lastly, it is also a platform for direct interaction between European and African companies (B2B) with dedicated sessions for each sector.

Among these different sectors, the cultural and creative industries and their value chains offer key business and cooperation opportunities for both Africa and Europe. This is why the project "Créer en Afrique centrale" in the framework of the ACP-EU Culture programme, has been invited to participate to this international event.

In this framework, Créer en Afrique centrale will organise a round table on 18 February at 11.30 a.m. on the theme "Investing in the creative and cultural sectors in Africa" moderated by Mr. Hugues Ondaye, General Commissioner of Festival Panafricain de Musique (FESPAM) with the contribution of relevant experts:

If you are interested in participating in the round table, please register here.
